Early life

Who is Johnny Depp ? I think everybodyknows who Johnny Depp is. Johnny Depp was born June 9,1963 in Owensboro Kentucky. He was the youngest of four children of Betty Sue Palmer and John Christopher Depp. His parents divorced 1978 and Depp‘s mother married her second husband Robert Palmer wich Johnny called inspirataion tome. Johnny begun to harm himself when he was young due to the stress of dealing with family problems. Which resulted in several self-inflicket svars,Johnny‘s word for that was „My body is a journal in a way“. Johnny got a guitar from his mother when he was 12, he began playing the guitar in garage bands. Year after hi8s parent‘s divorce Johnny dropped out of high school to become a rock musician, but he attempted to og back to school two weeks later then the principal told him to do what he likes to follow his dream. Johnny Depp begun to play with the band „The Kids“. They set out for LA in pursuit of a record deal but they never got there and split up before signing a record deal.Depp joined the band Rock City Angels. 

In December 1983 Johnny married his wife Lori Anne Allison, the sister of his band‘s bass player. In depp‘s marriage his wife worked ad a makeup artist, while he worked a variety of odd jobs,including a telemarketer for pens. Loi introduced Depp to actor Nicolas Cage who advised Depp to pursue an acting career. Lori and Johnny divorced in 1985. Depp auditioned for the film Trashin (1986) and he were cast, with Depp being chosen by the film‘s director to star as the lead , wich would have been Depp‘s second major role. Later Depp was turned down by the film‘s producers.

Johnny's beginning of career
Johnny starred in a lead role on the Fox television series, 21 Jump Street which was premiered in 1987. Depp accepted this role because of the actor Frederic Forrest who also had a role in this series. Frederic inspired Johnny in a sudden way. 21 jump street made Depp a famous teen idol and had a lot of success. Despite the success Depp felt that he should only act in film that were right for him.
Depp first big role was in 1984 classic horror film A nightmare on elm street. Playing the boyfriend of the heroine, Nancy Thompson and one of Freddy Krueger's victims. In 1986 he was chosen to act in the skater drama film Thrasin chosen by the director but rejected by the film's producer. Johnny appeared in a secondary role as a Vietnamese speaking private in Oliver Stone's platoon in 1986. In 1990 was a good luck year for Johnny , that year he undertook the quirky title role of the Tim Burton film, Edward Scissorhands. After that film Johnny's success began.

Deep's career
Johnny's career really began when Tim Burton discover his talents for acting. Depp has been criticized for his roles who are "iconic loners". Then in 2003 Johnny was chosen to act the major role in Walt Disney's film Pirates of the Caribbean : The curse of the black pearl. Depp played a shambling pirate Captain Jack Sparrow. After the film came in public Depp was a major draw for audiences. Johnny said he modeled Jack Sparrow after The rolling stones guitaris Keith Richards.
Johnny played in the role of Sweeney Todd in Tim Burton's film adaptation of the musicial. In 2012 Burton directed a film "Dark Shadows" and of course Johnny was the major role. Dark Shadows is a mix of comedy and horror and is based on the gothic soap opera that was produced for television between the 1966 and 1971. Depp plays Barnabas Collins a 200 year old vampire who has been imprisoned in a coffin. When he awakes he turnes back home to his mansion. He discovers that his jealous ex-lover Angelique Bouchard has taken over the town's fishing buisness that was once run by the collins family. Now Barnabas and his family have to fight her to get what they had.

             

 

Awards and Nominations

After playing the major role in The Pirates of the carabbean Johnny Depp was nominated for an Academy Award for best actor for the role. In 2004 Johnny was nominated for an Academy Award for best actor the Scottish author J.M Barrie in the film Finding Neverland. When Depp starred as Willy Wonka in the Charlie and the chocolate factory there were major success earning him a nomination for the Golden Globe award for best actor in a musical or comedy. In the film Sweeney Todd by Tim Burton the film was adaptation of the musical, for wich he won a Golden globe award for best actor - motion picture musical or comedy. Johnny was really thankfull and praised Tim Burton for his trust and support. Depp was nominated for Alice in Wonderland, the tourist and he won the golden globe award for best actor in Sweeney Todd. Johnny has been nominated over 24 times and I think that is a lot.

I interviewed Sonja. Her favorite actor is also Johnny Depp. She likes all of his character but most of all she loves Captain Jack Sparrow. He is a pirate in the film Pirates of the Carabian like most of you know, that is Sonja's favorite movie with him. She thinks that he is a stronge person because he can act in so many films and so different characters. Sonja knew a lot about Johnny Depp...She talked about his friendship with the director Tim Burton and his wife Helena Boham-Carter, that Johnny Depp acts in most of all Tim Burton's films and he is 99% the main character. She counted a few films with him Nightmare before Christmas, Edward Scissorhands and Charlie and the chocolate factory. Sonja talked about his 13 tattoos. She knew that all of his tattoos mean something signifying for him. He has his son's name Jack on his left bicep.
